Babu Parmanand (August 10, 1932 - April 24, 2008) was an Indian politician who served as the Governor of Haryana from June 19, 1999 to July 2, 2004. Born in Saroar, Jammu and Kashmir, he was first elected to the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly in 1962 from the Ramgarh seat and served as the Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in 1980. His son, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, is a doctor at AIIMS hospital.
