Baghish Hovsepyan was an Armenian writer born on October 18, 1922, in Nerkin Aluchalu, New Bayazet, Armenian SSR. He became a member of the Union of Soviet Writers in 1957 and was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1942. Hovsepyan was active in literature during the Soviet era and contributed to the Armenian literary scene until his death on February 10, 2004, in Yerevan, Armenia.
