Baikunth Lal Sharma, known as Prem, was an Indian politician born on December 17, 1929, who represented Delhi in the Lok Sabha as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was elected during the 10th and 11th Lok Sabha periods, becoming notable for defeating Congress candidate HKL Bhagat in 1991, earning him the title of 'giant killer'. He successfully retained his seat in 1996 against Deep Chand Bandhu but faced defeat in the 2009 General Election from the North-East Delhi constituency. He passed away on September 28, 2019.
