Banryūyama Takaharu, born Takaharu Taguchi on May 4, 1951, is a former sumo wrestler from Tatsuno, Hyōgo, Japan. He debuted in November 1966 and reached the top division by March 1975, attaining the rank of komusubi. After retiring in November 1984, he became an elder of the Japan Sumo Association as Matsuchiyama, coaching at Mihogaseki stable until its closure in 2013 and then moving to Kasugano stable. He continued as a consultant until he left the association at the age of 70 in May 2021.
