Barbara Harbach (born February 14, 1946) is an accomplished composer, harpsichordist, organist, and educator. She has been teaching music at the University of Missouri-St. Louis since 2004. Harbach is also an advocate for women's contributions to the arts; she founded Women in the Arts-St. Louis to promote female musicians and composers. Additionally, she established Vivace Press in 1989 to publish works by underrepresented composers and co-founded Women of Note Quarterly in 1993, where she continues to serve as editor.
