Barbara Joscelyne, born on 9 May 1959, is a British Paralympian athlete celebrated for her achievements in the 1980 and 1984 Summer Paralympics. In 1980, she won gold in the E category for the 100m, 400m, and long jump. Competing in the A6 category in 1984, she won gold in discus, alongside silver medals in the 100m and shot put. She married Roy Roach in 1990 and has three children: Katharine, Helen, and Patrick. Currently, she works at Hertfordshire and Essex High School and Science College in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire.
