Barbara Oundo Nekesa is a Ugandan politician and diplomat, currently serving as Uganda's High Commissioner to South Africa, stationed in Pretoria. She represents Uganda in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, and Swaziland. Previously, she held the position of state minister for Karamoja affairs in the Ugandan Cabinet from May 27, 2011, succeeding Janet Museveni. Additionally, she was elected as the women's representative for Busia District in the 9th Parliament from 2011 to 2016.
