Barbara Underhill is a former Canadian figure skater, born on June 24, 1963, in Oshawa, Ontario. She specialized in pair skating with her partner Paul Martini, with whom she became the 1978 World Junior Champion and won multiple Canadian Championships from 1979 to 1983. They claimed the bronze medal at the 1983 World Championships and achieved their greatest success by winning gold at the 1984 Worlds in Ottawa. Underhill and Martini participated in two Winter Olympics but did not medal. She later became a commentator and founded a children's safety foundation after a personal tragedy.
