Barbro Maria Strömgren was a Swedish painter and textile artist born on February 17, 1927, in Stockholm and passed away on October 15, 2014, in Lidingö. She trained at Tekniska skolan in Stockholm, becoming a textile artist and drawing teacher, and studied at Konstfack from 1943 to 1949. Strömgren earned a degree in art history, religious history, and pedagogy in 1964. She created artworks for church decoration and is buried at Solna cemetery.
