Bernard Noël McKenna, known as Banjo Barney, was an Irish musician born on December 16, 1939. He played the banjo, mandolin, and melodeon. He was a member of the folk group The Dubliners from 1962 until his death in 2012. McKenna was notable for being the last living original member of The Dubliners since 2008, contributing significantly to the traditional Irish music scene throughout his career.
