Barry John Kemp (born May 14, 1940) is an English archaeologist and Egyptologist. He is an honorary professor of Egyptology at the University of Cambridge and conducts excavations at Amarna in Egypt. His renowned book 'Ancient Egypt: Anatomy of a Civilization' is a foundational text in Egyptology and is used in many ancient history courses.
