Basit Ahmed Dar, also known as Basit Dar or Abu Kamran Ali, was a prominent Kashmiri separatist militant commander. He led The Resistance Front (TRF) as the Chief Operational Commander after the death of Muhammad Abbas Sheikh in 2021. Recognized as one of the most wanted militants in the Kashmir valley, a reward of one million INR was offered for his capture. Dar was killed in an encounter with Indian Security Forces on May 7, 2024, in Kulgam district.
