She made history by being the first Egyptian and Arab athlete to qualify for the triathlon event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Considered the best triathlete in the history of Egypt and the Arab world, she achieved a remarkable rank of 68 in the International Triathlon Union world rankings, marking the highest position ever attained by an Egyptian or Arab female triathlete.
