H. Basril Djabar, S.H. (born April 21, 1943) is an Indonesian journalist and businessman. He entered the business world while studying at the Faculty of Law, Andalas University. On December 18, 1968, he co-founded Harian Singgalang, one of the largest newspapers in Sumatra. He also established the property company PT BroadBiz Asia with his son, Roby Irwanto, serving as President Commissioner. In 2005, he was a commissioner at PT Semen Padang. His family members include political figures in the Indonesian government.
