Bayya Suryanarayana Murthy (1906–1979) was an influential Indian journalist, poet, and Parliamentarian who served multiple terms in Lok Sabha. He played a significant role in the Indian freedom movement and was a minister in the Madras Government. As an author, he wrote numerous works in English and Telugu, focusing on social justice and the welfare of underprivileged communities. Murthy founded the M.C. Rajah Memorial Hostel and was deeply involved in youth movements. He is remembered for his contributions to politics, literature, and education in India.
