Born on March 15, 1914, in Cisy, he was ordained a presbyter in 1938 and later became Bishop of Bielsko. Bazyli played a crucial role in the establishment of new parishes and contributed to enhancing relations with other Orthodox Churches, overseeing the opening of monasteries and the formation of dioceses during his leadership.
