Beant Singh (January 6, 1959 – October 31, 1984) was born in Jaitu, Punjab, India. He served as a bodyguard for Indira Gandhi. Singh participated in the assassination of Indira Gandhi, as he was present during the incident. He was later killed by another bodyguard of the Prime Minister.
