Beatrice Ohanessian (March 15, 1927 - July 17, 2008) was an Armenian-Iraqi pianist born in the 'Murb'a' area of old Baghdad. She is known for being the first female pianist in Iraq and the first female composer. Her contributions to music have left a lasting legacy in the Iraqi cultural scene.
