Ben Sasaki (佐々木 勉) was a Japanese lyricist, composer, and singer born on December 26, 1938, in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Seijo University after attending Seijo Gakuen High School. His real name was Tsutomu Sasaki. Throughout his career, Sasaki contributed significantly to Japanese music, becoming well-known for his songwriting and performing talents. He was married to lyricist Jun Kasama and had a previous marriage to actress Mieko Nishio. Sadly, he passed away on March 11, 1985.
