Bentong Kali, born P. Kalimuthu, was a notorious Malaysian gangster and criminal active in the 1990s. Implicated in 17 murders, he terrorized Kuala Lumpur through violence, extortion, and drug trafficking. He led 'Gang 04' and then established 'Gang 08'. His violent spree led to a nationwide manhunt, 'Ops Buncit'. He was eventually killed by police during a confrontation in 1993. His life and crimes captured public attention, and he remains a controversial figure in Malaysia's criminal history.
