Bernard Leo Korchinski (1905-2006) was a notable educator and Saskatchewan political figure. He served as a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly, representing Redberry in two separate terms. An educator for 39 years, he also served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. Korchinski was instrumental in various community organizations, including the Ukrainian Canadian Congress. He authored articles for Ukrainski Visti and wrote a book about Pioneer Bishop Nykyta Budka. He lived to be 100 years old, passing away in Regina.
