Bernhard Anton Aleksander Munkerud (1901–1972), known as 'Norga', was a Norwegian drag artist and costume designer. He is recognized as Norway's first drag artist. Initially trained in ballet, he performed on stage in Europe, including Germany and Denmark. He returned to Norway in 1938, where he worked as a costume chief at Det nye teateret in Oslo before moving to Hollywood in 1953. In Hollywood, he served as a housemaster for prominent stars like Judy Garland. Munkerud passed away in Oslo in March 1972.
