Bert Jan van der Veen, born on March 3, 1968, is a Dutch marathon skater residing in De Jouwer. He has won the Dutch title in art skating three times, in 2001, 2003, and 2005, making him one of the record holders for titles along with other notable skaters. Van der Veen also won the Alternative Alvestedetocht in 2006 and was a member of the BAM marathon team. After retiring from competitive skating, he became a coach in marathon skating.
