Nils Bertil Agdur was a Swedish engineer, researcher, and official born on October 10, 1924, in Orsa. He graduated from Chalmers University of Technology in 1948 and completed his technology degree in 1951. Agdur worked as a research assistant at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and received a doctoral degree in 1957. He served as a professor of microwave technology at KTH from 1959 to 1971 and was director-general of the Board of Technology Development (STU) from 1971 to 1975. He became a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences in 1965.
