Beryce Ann Nelson, née Noble, born on January 10, 1947, is a former Australian politician and public relations expert. She served in the Queensland Legislative Assembly and was the first woman appointed as Government Deputy Whip in Australia. Nelson also founded the Down's syndrome Association in Australia. After resigning from the Liberal Party, she started her own PR company and later became a senior consultant. She completed a Master's degree and worked as a lecturer before retiring to focus on community projects and her marriage to artist Merton Chambers.
