Denisch has held teaching positions at UMass Dartmouth and Northeastern University, and currently teaches at Berklee College of Music. Active in the American Composers Forum, she founded its New England chapter. Denisch's music, recognized for its prominent performances and various awards, embodies elements of rhythmic complexity and dissonance. She also lectures on music and gender issues. Her works include 'Sorrow and Tenderness' and 'Fire Mountain Intermezzo'.
