Beti Olive Namisango Kamya-Turomwe, known as Betty Kamya, is a prominent Ugandan businesswoman and politician. She has served as the Inspector General of Government since July 16, 2021. Kamya was previously the Cabinet Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and the Minister for Kampala Capital City Authority. As the founder and president of the Uganda Federal Alliance, she was a candidate in the 2011 presidential elections. She also served as a Member of Parliament for Lubaga North from 2006 to 2010 and has engaged in various political roles within the National Resistance Movement.
