He dedicated his life to cleaning major historical Gurdwaras in Delhi, earning the nickname Jhaaroo Wale Veerji. He organized volunteers to provide Langar, feeding thousands every morning at Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib. Veerji was influenced by the teachings of Sikh Gurus and notable figures like Mother Teresa. He passed away on March 19, 2010, and is survived by his two sons, who continue his mission.
