Bhanja Kishore Patnaik (November 13, 1922 - November 27, 1999) was a prominent Odia playwright known for his contributions to Indian theatre post-independence. He authored 35 plays, 8 one-act plays, four short story collections, poetry, and a novel titled 'Marupathika'. Twelve of his plays were broadcast on radio and television. In 1958, he received the Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award for his play 'Agni-Pariksha'. His autobiography is titled 'Jibanara Jayajatra', reflecting on his life and career in theatre.
