Renowned for his work in immunology and cell signaling, Saha has been recognized as an elected fellow of both the National Academy of Sciences, India and the Indian Academy of Sciences. In 2009, he was awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, which is one of the highest honors in Indian science, for his significant contributions to the field of biological sciences.
