Bidyut Baran Chaudhuri, also known as B.B. Chaudhuri, is a senior computer scientist and the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of Techno India University in West Bengal, India. He has been associated with the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) for nearly three decades, serving as a professor there. He was the founding head of the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Department at ISI, established in 1994. Additionally, he was a Jagdish Chandra Bose Fellow and a distinguished professor at ISI's Indian National Academy of Engineering.
