He gained recognition in the blues scene through recordings by Ace Records, with notable songs like 'Smokestack Lightnin'.' In 1991, he released the album 'Mean Disposition' and performed at various European blues festivals. Unfortunately, his life was cut short due to complications from diabetes, leading to his death on April 3, 2002.
