Bilkisu Yusuf (December 2, 1952 – September 24, 2015) was a Nigerian journalist and newspaper editor. Recognized as the first woman to run a national newspaper in Nigeria, she served as an editor for multiple publications. A prominent Hausa Muslim feminist, she advocated for women's rights and was involved in various NGOs, including Women in Nigeria (WIN) and the Federation of Muslim Women's Associations (FOMWAN). She tragically lost her life in a stampede during the Hajj pilgrimage in Mina, Saudi Arabia in 2015.
