He primarily appears on 'Early Today', 'Hallie Jackson NOW', and 'Top Story with Tom Llamas', and occasionally reports for MSNBC and CNBC. Previously, he was an original meteorologist for NBC Weather Plus and hosted on 'Weekend Today'. Karins has filled in for notable personalities like Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta and has also worked in Kansas, North Carolina, and Maine.
