Saucier's expertise in Western Swing led to significant collaborations with notable artists such as Hank Thompson and Merle Haggard. In 1965, he joined the Joanie Waco Show and toured extensively across the U.S., including Las Vegas. He was recognized as the Grand National Fiddler in 1985, lauded for his extraordinary talent.
