Bimalendra Nidhi is a former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs of Nepal. He is currently the Vice President of the ruling Nepali Congress party. Nidhi, also known by the affectionate names Bimalji and Nidhiji, is the second son of the influential family of Mahendra Narayan Nidhi and Prem Sagari Nidhi. The Nidhi family resides in the municipality of Dhanucha Narayan. As Vice President of Congress, Nidhi is seen as a close confidant of party president and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
