Bint al-Huda, born Amina al-Sadr in 1937, was an Iraqi Shiite activist and the sister of prominent cleric Mohammad Baqir al-Sadr. She was known for her contributions to Islamic thought and activism. Tragically, she was executed by former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein on April 9, 1980, alongside her brother. Her legacy continues to be remembered in discussions around the political and social issues faced in Iraq, particularly regarding oppression and martyrdom.
