Birgit Alice Klåvus was a Finnish singer born on January 8, 1940, in Pori. She began her singing career in 1956 as a revue singer and was a soloist for dance orchestras from 1957 to 1961. After taking a break from music for most of the 1960s to focus on family life, she returned to the music scene in the early 1970s. Klåvus released long-playing albums in 1979 and 1984, and a compilation album was released in 2004, fifteen years after her death on June 6, 1989.
