Björn Åke Axén (March 28, 1938 – June 23, 1993) was a notable Swedish hairdresser who founded the hair care company Björn Axén. He began his career as a 'shampoo boy' and later opened his own salon in Stockholm in 1963. Axén innovatively introduced Sweden's first computerized hair salon booking system in 1984 and developed his own hair products. He served as the official hairdresser for the Swedish royal family and was involved in theater productions. After his death, his business was taken over by former colleagues.
