Björn Olof Samuelsson, born May 30, 1976, in Lysekil, is a Swedish jazz musician specializing in the trombone. He began playing euphonium at age 10 and switched to trombone four years later. Notably, he played with the Army Music Corps, touring internationally. Samuelsson has collaborated with leading big bands in Sweden and performed with American cult band LOVE. He has participated in various media appearances and is the first trombonist for Bohuslän Big Band. He also leads his own jazz quartet, 'The Björn Samuelsson Jazz Formation,' and has released a debut album in 2005.
