He grew up in Hässelby and rose to fame in 1998 with his hit song 'Under ytan', which sampled Uno Svenningsson's song of the same name. His debut album 'Samhällstjänst' also included the singles 'Släpp mig fri' and 'Andra sidan (bortom dimhöljet)'. Peroti has released two more albums, with his latest in 2000, and he has worked as a shoe salesman and resource teacher after his music career.
