Bo Pemer (formerly Hedlund) was a Swedish teacher and author born on June 9, 1934, in Östersund and died on June 16, 2009, in Gothenburg. He was the son of parish priest Nils Hedlund and poet-educator Ingrid Pemer, who contributed lyrics to a lullaby. In 1978 and 1979, he published two novels, 'Akta din båt' and 'Strömdragen', inspired by a poem by Edith Södergran. He is buried at Västra kyrkogården in Gothenburg.
