Robin 'Bob' F. Schoolley-West (1937-2012) was a prominent philatelist who served as Head of the Philatelic Collections at the British Library, formerly part of the British Museum. He began his career at the Museum in 1973 after investigating a theft incident related to the philatelic collections. In the mid-1980s, he played a significant role in identifying forgeries of classic stamps produced by the Pro-Phila Forum in Germany. After retiring in 1991, he was succeeded by his assistant, David Beech.
