Robert S. Van Dillen, born on October 6, 1972, is an American meteorologist and on-air host for Fox Weather. A graduate of Millersville University in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in meteorology, he began his career in Long Island and worked for several news affiliates in New York and North Carolina before joining CNN in 2002. He was awarded the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval in 1997 and is an active member of the AMS. He has contributed significantly to weather forecasting and reporting throughout his career.
