Bogi Ágústsson, born on April 6, 1952, is an Icelandic public television news reporter. He graduated with a degree in history from the University of Iceland in 1977 and began his career in journalism the same year. Bogi worked as a foreign news reporter for TV News and covered news from Nordic countries while living in Copenhagen from 1984 to 1986. In 1988, he became a press officer and later served as the director of the communications department of a radio company, eventually focusing on news anchorship.
