Bohumír Kobliha (1902-1981) was a Czechoslovak army officer and topographer. He participated in the Western foreign resistance during World War II and returned to Czechoslovakia as a decorated officer. He served as the first post-war commander of the Military Geographical Institute in Prague. After the 1948 Communist coup, he was accused of treason, sentenced to prison, and lost his military rank and property. Following his release, he worked as a laborer and later as a clerk until retirement. His rehabilitation occurred posthumously in 1991, restoring his rank of colonel and later promoted to major general in 1995.
