Boris Anjelyan is an Armenian hygienist born on May 1, 1928, in Akhaltsikhe, Akhaltsikhe Province, Tbilisi Governorate. He earned a Candidate of Medical Sciences degree in 1955 and became a professor in 1989. He is recognized as one of the founders of physiology, children's and adolescents' hygiene, and medical geography. Additionally, he is the brother of Georgy Anjelyan and Vladimir Anjelyan.
