Boris Hurtta (December 8, 1945 – February 6, 2021) was a Finnish author known for his contributions to horror literature. He published numerous short stories in small publications and authored two horror novels: 'Elävien ja kuolleitten kesä' (1990), a vampire tale, and 'Lumen tuloa ei voi estää' (1991), influenced by Cthulhu mythos. He later wrote adventure novels set in North Africa, including 'Rommelin kulta' (1994) and 'Tangerin isokala' (2000). Hurtta also wrote travelogues and was an avid bibliophile.
