Boris Dmitrievich Tskhomariya (1925-2012) was a prominent Sochi local historian and educator known for his contributions to the history of Krasnaya Polyana. He served as a member of the regional DOSAAF and was recognized as an honorary citizen of Sochi. A geography teacher at School No. 65, he authored several works on Krasnaya Polyana and founded the local historical-memorial museum. He was also a journalist and contributed to a patriotic magazine.
