Božena Kropáčková (1901-1975) was a prominent figure in the Czechoslovak anti-Nazi resistance during World War II. Despite the incarceration and execution of her husband, Colonel Václav Kropáček, she actively participated in the resistance by hiding paratrooper Adolf Opálka in her home. Kropáčková nurtured her children while secretly aiding the movement. Post-war, she received multiple honors for her bravery, and in the later years of her life, she fought for the recognition of her husband's legacy.
